Weather forecasting used phyics equations. AI used historical patterns. Hurricane Isaias’s path and intensity over Florida matched AI’s model. AI is here to stay. We need to talk and to understand it better. How it works… how it helps… how it could be abused.

When I first saw this picture, I thought it was a playful moment of a mother elephant and her calf. After reading the story behind the picture, I felt this was one moment that AI can never do well: truth and emotion.
