- Make house calls, one on one. Document and act on your issues. Cost of living, insurance, medical, gas, taxes, utilities, food… Neighborhood safety, parking, infrastructure, city rules and regulation.
- Keep you up-to-date with what is happening in schools and our community. Street constructions, water shut offs, thefts and scams, bullying, police and community board reports, AI uses, store openings and closings, changes and enforcement in rules and regulations.
- Create an online district community bulletin board where citizens could share their community events, and post neighborhood concerns.
- Host town halls and meetings live and online. How many town halls were done by Senator Addabbo over his 25-year career?
- Dig for mistakes and unanswered questions from MTA, police, budget, agencies, etc.
- Focus on long-term solutions not short-term gimmicks. Not a $200 Powercheck (paid to taxpayer who is not necessarily the utility payer) or the $5,000 Trump promise.

Instead of taking one side OR the other as politicians normally do, Maio would state his position AND present differing views. Isn’t that what “our elected representative” is supposed to do?!
As a community, let’s identify what’s unacceptable, learn and educate from our youths, understand reasoning of opposing sides, rectify rules and laws that are wrong, and help those truly in need on a better path. Freebies and political photo ops do not benefit our community.
