NY Governor Hochul signed several gun legislations into law Monday, June 6. The Trace, online newsroom dedicated to covering gun violence, reported on June 8 that the banned body armor does not cover the one used by the 18-year-old Payton Gendron of Conklin, NY. Even the chief sponsor of the bill, Assemblyman Jonathan Jacobson did not know.
