Complaints are from residents on Plattwood Avenue and 98 Street. Besides the elderly and children living in the residential neighborhood, there is also a Middle School 137. Also, several cars backing out of driveway have near collision accidents.
Instead of speed bumps, neighbors recommend that DOT turn one block of Plattwood Avenue between Cross Bay Boulevard and 96 Street, one-way, westward.
