Mass parole for CHNV plagued without meaningful enforcement

Started by the Biden Administration on October 19, 2022 for Venezuelans followed by Cubans, Haitians and Nicaraguans on January 9, 2023, it was meant to humanitarian parole “orderly pathways to the United States” for up to 30,000 nationals per month.

The program has been plagued with false sponsorship information, and the Department of Homeland Security has no way of tracking or enforcing the program.
