My wife got a Zelle payment from a stranger who “accidentally” send her $120. It was to a Zelle account she never used.

The sender knew her name, and wanted it back within minutes. Believing it was a mistake, she was to send it back.

DON’T! Money came from a stolen credit card. If you refunded, you may need to pay back to the bank that issued the stolen card a few months later!

Zelle is owned by Early Warning LLC, competitor of PayPal and Cash App.
