The City has about 150 old groundwater check sites. Now that flooding is more problematic, new sites to monitor should be drilled.
Homeowners who takes action where City or State failed should be compensated as this site by 64 Street to pump out overflows in Woodside.
The back alley is one block away from BQE which has a lower elevation. During heavy rain, the drains on this section of BQE is shut causing backed up water to rise into this alley by Nathan Weiderbaum Playground. (To be confirmed)
