Tried Friday to visit a friend who had cancer surgery the day before. MSKCC limits two visitors per day, and visitors must pre-register online. Due to recent “uptick” of COVID cases citywide, only one person can visit at a time. Those ever-changing COVID policy details are not found on its website.
The other recovering patient in my friend’s room is COVID positive. My friend is COVID negative, and is separated by a sliding curtain. Again, policy of keeping positive and negative patients together is not found on its website.
