Watched the official last day online. Amazed with calibre of Q&A between Senators; the speed of passing late night bills without reading the bills in full nor a full roll call of votes; having nominated judges to wait for approval past midnight; unanimous 63 votes when many Senators were visibly and acknowledged absent, etc.

The public is now part of the legislative process. Constituents sent text and email during the debates. Some Senators even read them out loud. I propose (1) all legislative meetings being broadcasted end at 9 pm; (2) bills should be read in its entirely; and (3) Senators absent cannot have their vote counted automatically.
