One $150 rebate check was issued before Mayor Adams’ ink was dried.
First Deputy Mayor Lorraine Grillo said, “they (sic) can use to pay their (sic) mortgage, pay their (sic) utility bills, or plan for their (sic) future.” How many checks were issued? How many applied, but are waiting or were denied? How about just lower the property tax? Would that not be easier and more fair?
Democrat’s definition of fairness: $150 property tax rebate, while the same real estate tax goes up by more than $150.
