Mayor Eric Adam’s COVID Vaccine Mandate change unfair and confusing!

Mandate dropped for private employers was never really enforced. What happens to those private sector employees fired by private employers after November 1, 2022? Proof of vaccination is still required for municipal workers, police officers, firefighters, teachers and PARENTS! We need a COVID Commission to explore all of City and State’s actions, timeline, and results.

Emergency Declaration for COVID expired September 13, yet Mandate still exist for Schools.

Department of Education COVID-19 “Guidance”. All students are taught in person, vaccinated and unvaccinated. However, unvaccinated parents cannot enter school. They cannot meet teachers or principal or see their children inside any DOE property. That includes unvaccinated teachers! Does it make sense? I am calling for a COVID Commission to sort out this bureaucratic mess.

NYC Health Department inspections should allow food establishments time to correct violations. Fines should only be issued for repeated and agreed-to violations.

Currently, fines are issued on the spot upon inspection. There is no chart or table of fines posted publicly. There is no grace period for violators to correct. Even the Business Owner’s Bill of Rights is biased to protect its own inspectors, not to help business owners.
