Trucks parked along 69 Street along All Faiths Cemetery for weeks at a time including the Fedex truck in the picture
The City has a law not allowing commercial vehicles to park on residential streets between 9 PM and 5 AM. Problem is that there is little enforcement. I propose giving residents ability to report this violation. Once the fine is paid, the City will share the proceeds.

Met Eugenia who cares about our environment. She observed that wild butterflies no longer come after West Nile mosquito spraying. She wondered whether non-native species such as bamboo would be a problem.
DoT sidewalk construction along Pitkin Avenue and 94 Avenue made street and driveway parking worse!

Trash and garbage at MS137 America’s School of Heroes
It has hard to avoid smell of trash and rats in New York City. Instead of just stacking the bags waiting for pick up, can the smell and rats be reduced by smarter trash bagging? That would make its neighbors happy.

Complaints are from residents on Plattwood Avenue and 98 Street. Besides the elderly and children living in the residential neighborhood, there is also a Middle School 137. Also, several cars backing out of driveway have near collision accidents. Instead of speed bumps, neighbors recommend that DOT turn one block of Plattwood Avenue between Cross Bay … Read more
