Make Eldert Lane one-way instead of two-way

August 23, 2022June 24, 2022 by Danniel

Eldert Lane divides this section of Kings and Queens County. On the Queens side, the post office is Brooklyn, but it is served by Queens 102nd Precinct. The Brooklyn side is Kings 75th Precinct. The street is not wide enough for two-way traffic. Cars would have a set of wheels parked on the sidewalk to … Read more

Traffic light at Eldert Lane needs a separate turn signal for left turning cars onto Atlantic Avenue.

August 23, 2022June 24, 2022 by Danniel

Atlantic Avenue is wide. Garbage builds up easily here.

Traffic accidents common at 95 Avenue and Eldert Lane

September 18, 2022June 24, 2022 by Danniel

95 Avenue is one way westward, and dead ends at Eldert Lane. Because Eldert Lane is narrow with cars parked on both sides of the road (often on the sidewalk as evidenced by the worn out grass at this corner), cars turning left or right could have its line of sight blocked.

When DoT redid sidewalk at 105-29 Ruby Street, it did not ask homeowners for input.

August 23, 2022June 24, 2022 by Danniel

This patch was done differently compared to other trees. The design is causing nuisance for the homeowners. I propose all DoT projects should take input from affected neighbors and businesses into consideration.

Myrtle Avenue not milled for nearly two decades.

August 23, 2022June 23, 2022 by Danniel

Work is being done on Jamaica Avenue and streets nearby, but not this stretch of Myrtle Avenue from Park Lane South to 117 Street. There should be a street milling history map that the public can view.

Hillside Avenue – Myrtle Avenue is a “Through Truck Route” yet trucks would turn on route from non-allowed streets holding up traffic.

August 23, 2022June 23, 2022 by Danniel

Coca-Cola truck turning west from 111 Street onto Myrtle. Perhaps a speed camera could be installed at 111 Street to capture these illegal maneuvers?

At 115-91 Myrtle Avenue, house shakes every time bus passes by. Road buckled at least 4″ at spots, which could damage car when parking.

September 14, 2022June 23, 2022 by Danniel

Also, alternate side street cleaning is not available thus trash often gets blown onto the property. Can DoT examine the vibration problem?
