Austin Simon, 34, was killed Friday July 1 around 11 pm at Broadway and 139 Street, was already on parole for assaulting a cop at the time of the deadly encounter — and had at least eight prior busts, including for assault, robbery, and assault during a domestic dispute.

Update July 8, 2022. Bail reduced to $50,000. Jose Alba is still a criminal!
