77 St near Atlantic Ave: Trash and crime
The road has potholes, construction debris, trash… Residents have observed people from the homeless shelter on 101 Avenue breaking into cars and had the mirror of one resident’s car broken off.

95 Ave near Rockaway Blvd: Crime
Vehicles have been broken into; porch pirates is rampant. If a house has a divot or cavity, it is inviting for homeless and other undesirable uses.
PS64 Ampere Park: Homeless, marijuana, parking
Parents and residents facing the park at 82 Street and 101 Avenue do not want the smell of marijuana and view of homeless. Parking is also an issue. Some residents would have PS64 teachers/workers park in their driveway or spot during school days.
Forbell St and 95 Ave: “Stop” sign instead of “Two Way Traffic Ahead”
Forbell Street from Atlantic Avenue to 95 Avenue is one-way southbound becoming two-way until 101 Avenue. Drivers northbound on Forbell Street has to be careful since southbound cars do not need to stop. Drivers on 95 Avenue westbound could be in a blind spot turning left southbound.
Tree at 75-06 97 Avenue
NYC Parks has visited the overgrown tree multiple times. Its solution? Remove the sidewalk. Why not just cut it instead of making it more difficult for pedestrians and homeowners? Neighbors have also reported and witnessed violent crimes. Some were victims themselves.
Tree at 86-15 Eldert Lane
It has overgrown and cracked sidewalk. Crime and shelter are other concerns.
87 Ave and 75 St: Parking and security
Commercial vehicles park overnight; Many cars have not moved for over a year including this red BMW; Eldert Avenue homeless shelter residents open trash bags…
Light out at 88 Road and 75 Street
This section of Woodhaven is dark at night. Neighbors indicate that the lights do not turn on.
Eldert-Ridgewood-90-Rockaway: Dangerous intersection
Where Eldert Lane, Ridgewood Avenue, 90 Avenue and Rockaway Boulevard meet dividing Queens and Kings Counties, cars zip through even when red.
