Woodhaven Boulevard Service Road and its underpass at 78 Avenue has multiple problems!
(1) Lighting is dark thus dangerous at night; (2) metal gate is broken in two places to the right and left of the stairway; (3) the no thru Woodhaven Boulevard Service Road cannot accommodate tractor trailers making turns. 18 wheelers entering are guaranteed to damage parked cars.
Overgrown tree lifting slab of sidewalk cement done 2 years ago at 80-18 Margaret Place
The tree has pushed one side of the slab one inch up on one side. One tree limb has grown across to the other side of the street.
Trucks parked along 69 Street along All Faiths Cemetery for weeks at a time including the Fedex truck in the picture
The City has a law not allowing commercial vehicles to park on residential streets between 9 PM and 5 AM. Problem is that there is little enforcement. I propose giving residents ability to report this violation. Once the fine is paid, the City will share the proceeds.

Trash and garbage at MS137 America’s School of Heroes
It has hard to avoid smell of trash and rats in New York City. Instead of just stacking the bags waiting for pick up, can the smell and rats be reduced by smarter trash bagging? That would make its neighbors happy.

Chronic Flooding at 68 Avenue in Forest Hills
The common driveway behind homes at 95-12, 95-14 and 95-16 68 Avenue floods when it rains. There is a drain, but the homeowners decided to build their own levee to keep water away from its basement/garage.
