New York City fenced up vacant lot at 104-82 124 Street

September 21, 2022 by Danniel

The property is owned by the City of New York. It has been left vacant and unattended for decades. Good neighbors have kept it cleaned. City decided to lock it up this year. Now it is unsightly.

One bench wrongly placed at PS 54 Hillside is causing nothing but trouble.

September 10, 2022 by Danniel

It was installed about 3 years ago. It has attracted wrong people and wrong activities at the wrong time. Wednesday night boom box music until 2 am, drug use, dog poop, homeless, drinking, all happening at PS 54. It should be removed.

Speed bumps request at 125 Street lost.

September 8, 2022 by Danniel

Both ends of 125 Street between Jamaica Avenue and 89 Avenue are not thruways, yet cars speed down the one-way street south dangerously. The “mayor” of this block submitted request for two speed bumps 6 years ago, but was told that the request was lost. Also, sewer pipe mid-street is probably broken. DoT came several … Read more

$500 million 2020, 2022, 2024. Does MTA even care about you and your money???

September 6, 2022 by Danniel

When the COVID pandemic hit. When you saw nightly subway cleaning. When it announced cost of fare evasion… Solutions? Build taller turnstiles. $ Hike fares in March 2023. $$ Congestion pricing in 2024. $$$ ENOUGH!

You have until September 9 to post a comment on Congestion Pricing.

NYC Schools Chancellor David Banks vowed changes. Where is he now 9 months later? How can Albany help?

September 3, 2022 by Danniel

What did the Chancellor say when he took office? Where are his promises now? Perhaps I shall have a digital wall of shame to compare promises, complaints and status?

Rikers Island is scheduled to close in 2027. With crime and incarceration rising, will the 4 borough jails become extra beds?

August 29, 2022 by Danniel

Yes, the City is committed to close Rikers. Is this another wrong decision by the Democrats?

Senator Chuck Schumer, how do student loan processors staff up when the application process and rules are not even set?

September 5, 2022August 29, 2022 by Danniel

Please don’t tell business what to do since you yourself don’t agree with the loan canceling amount. According to IRS, canceled debt is TAXABLE! Except federal student loans and in New York State.

It’s illegal to buy whipped cream by persons under the age of 21!

August 26, 2022 by Danniel

Say it ain’t so Senator Joe Addabbo and Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato! I know you are trying to address a local community concern, but to ban it statewide?! Albany needs to have a circuit breaker to SHUTDOWN bad laws!

One $150 rebate check was issued before Mayor Adams’ ink was dried.

September 18, 2022August 26, 2022 by Danniel

First Deputy Mayor Lorraine Grillo said, “they (sic) can use to pay their (sic) mortgage, pay their (sic) utility bills, or plan for their (sic) future.” How many checks were issued? How many applied, but are waiting or were denied? How about just lower the property tax? Would that not be easier and more fair?
