Department of Education COVID-19 “Guidance”. All students are taught in person, vaccinated and unvaccinated. However, unvaccinated parents cannot enter school. They cannot meet teachers or principal or see their children inside any DOE property. That includes unvaccinated teachers! Does it make sense? I am calling for a COVID Commission to sort out this bureaucratic mess.

The more effective method not to block the box is for Department of Transportation to paint a white box on Myrtle Avenue allowing distance for cars to exit and enter 89 Street. Quality of work by DoT and Parks & Recreation is subpar. Where sewer drain is right before Woodhaven Boulevard, the road dips scratching car bottoms and road. Even a ConEd manhole was asphalted over. This dead end facing the Forest Park Shops on 88th Place has “NO PARKING ANYTIME” sign constantly ignored. Weeds and plants have covered the “yellow” fire hydrant. Since the street dead ends, parking and driving requires extra attention.
