Also, car speeding to avoid traffic and speed camera on Liberty Avenue is a constant concern among seniors and children at play. Double-parking, reserved spots, hydrants, driveway blocking, out-of-state owners… Theft reporting is up to citizens to fix on their own. Response time has not been attentive. Quality of life is dramatically lower than before.

Parking space availability is tight along Jamaica Avenue especially if near a subway stop. Commuters, shoppers and neighbors would park illegally by hydrant, double-parking or blocking driveways frustrating residents. Cars would also speed down from Hillside Avenue to Jamaica Avenue.
